Its imposible to know when the charge is over. you get what you pay for.. they do what they say they'll do.. but you never know when the batteries are charged cause the lights never go out, plus the batteries get hot.. like i said, you get what you pay for.. you want a good charger don't get this one.. you want a battery charger that'll just charges batteries that's not all that safe, get this one.. the Batteries are slightly bigger than most batteries. That make it more difficult to use it and now the minus end of 3 of the batteries sink and I can no longer charge them nor use them. Not worth my money. Charges up in no time!!! I use this for my breast pump so it actually doesnt have to be for a camera :) So I bought these batteries for my various devices and immediately realized that they're too big around to fit in most of my devices. I will be returning them and don't recommend that you buy them. Charger didn't work but kept the batteries to use with a different charger. Original charger overheated the batteries and didn't shut off after batteries were charged. Tried my older charger and it worked fine. I liked the price so much, I bought two sets of them. The AA cells last very well in high current applications, longer than the energizer ones that these are replacing. They last longer than Alkalines in my RC transmitter, and various other gadgets I use them in. So far I have cycled (recharged) them 3 times, and they have already paid for themselves as opposed to alkaline disposables. This product is no good, and don't even think about buying them. It's worthless. Ordered from Amazon.com, and when received them, I charged them overnight, not thing happened, the red light indicator still on red. Take them out, re-inserted them, charged them again. Next day, nothing happened, and the red light still on. I am going to return them to Amazon, and please don't even try to buy them. NO GOOD the seller was fine, no problems. the item is terrible! The batteries are good; the charger does not work! manual says light goes out when batteries are charged. light never goes out! I returned one to Sony service; they sent me new batteries with no charger! I would avoid this charger!!! They came when they were supposed to but nothing worked. And batteries DO NOT fit in anything. Bought them for kids crib toys n other stuff,tried in all...none fit....to big. If they let me send it back,i will the rapid charger is very slow. after 36 hours was still charging and decided to return it. i tried different batteries and i git the same result Great product and speedy service- I'm indeed impressed!
