should i buy Energizer Rechargeable AAA Batteries reviews

First off, I would like to say that these batteries can NOT be used in the 15-minute chargers. You'll have to use the 8.5-9 hour chargers in order to charge them up to full capacity. I did some testing with my own charger and the 15 minute speed charger. The batteries worked great with the 9 hour charger, but very poorly with the 15 minute charger.

Additionally, the voltage for these are 1.2v. Note that most non rechargeable AAA's are 1.5V, so you will be getting a lower voltage input. This is especially important for those who are using them for flashlights (reduced brightness) and those who are looking for a good 12V equivalent input for DIY projects (8x1.5=12V as opposed to 10*1.2v=12V, you would need 10 batteries as opposed to 8 in order to achieve a 12V input, for example)

Regardless, these batteries, when treated right and if you know what they're best for are a very good dea
It is very convenient to have spare rechargeable battereies on hand. This way you always have fresh batteries for your electronics. I am currently in Iraq and I use these batteries for my headlamp and Bose noise cancelling headphones. These batteries seem to hold a charge longer that traditional batteries and it is very convenient to know that you always have a fresh set of batteries available. It is the worst thing for your batteries to die and not have a spare. I switched to rechargables about a year ago and will never go back.
I bought these batteries for my Sony voice recorder which I use 3-5 days in the week for 4 hour lectures. I used to go through regular batteries weekly and I finally decided that it'd be better to just get rechargeable batteries so I wouldn't have to buy new ones and throw them out a week later.

After fully charging these batteries for 2 hours (I have the energizer compact charger for AA and AAA), I took them to my 4 hour lecture and by the end of it, the battery charge was low. I thought I still had more time, so I brought them to my next lecture. Bad idea! The batteries died 30 minutes later and I missed out on 20 minutes of my lecture because I didn't realize that my recorder had turned off.

Each subsequent use of these batteries just got worse and worse. I was charging these batteries everyday and hoping that they wouldn't die before the lecture was over.

These batteries don't last long at all. I'd say they only last for a few hours. I tried using these batteries for 2 weeks, then I finally went and bought the Duracell rechargeable pre-charged batteries as others had suggested. I've been using the Duracell ones for a week of 4 hours lectures, and I still haven't had to recharge them.I purchased these batteriest for my bluetooth keyboard for my mac book and the batteries work phenomenal! They also work for little things such as remotes and and controllers and anything that requires AAA batteries. They work great! I bought two four-packs, and not one of the batteries lasted a year. About half of them went dead in less than 3 charge attempts. The others died soon after. Very disappointed with these. I'm trying eneloop next, they claim to take 1500 rechargesI'm about to order a pack of these, based on my 10 star performing AA
rechargeables, which I use in my albeit dinosaur Sony Cassette Walkman.
I don't have this glued to my ear, but i must be able to listen to ten
tapes, both sides, on one charge. What's that? 20 to 30 hrs. Impressive.
Enough so to discount the negative reviews here and also bypass the more
reviewed Duracells. Finally, if you're finally tired and nearing bankrupcy
from buying and tossing those AA or AAA's, recharging is highly recommended.
Your pocketbook, and posterity of the planet, will, like myself, thank you. I just love them, they charge so fast, and hold a decent charge, until they get old... and sometimes it takes a couple of months only... BUT.. what most don't now.. and (may be dangerous) is you can still trickle charge them... on a normal battery charger.. and they last for about 1 day that way. I was pretty happy to get these batteries (I use them in my Turtle beach X32 wireless headphones) and at first they worked great, but it's been about a good three weeks since I've had them now, and after about a combined 6-8 hours of use, they seem to die, I don't really mind that they die so quick since I only use two at a time and I have them charging, but normal batteries last longer then that, just regular everyday AAA's I could get about 4 or 5 days use out of them until they died, but these won't last more then 2 days, just seems like the more you charge them the less they keep, they are fine for a temporary fix, but if you plan on having these batteries for an extended period of time with continuous use, you will be disappointed in it's performance. Great product and a great price. With so many electronic items in the house it is such a savings to buy rechargable batteries and have them ready to go. I have some that are over two years old. i use these i a small radio i listen to in the mornings while getting ready for work, these battereis last about 1.5 weeks before needing to be recharged. Bought these with the charger combo pack and was excited to have an alternative to the disposable batteries we go through in our house and quickly discovered that these batteries just do not keep a charge or last. I spent a lot of energy researching rechargeable batteries and chargers and decided to give the rechargeables one last shot by replacing the charger with a much more expensive one that came highly recommended on Amazon, I replaced the old batteries with brand new ones to be fair, well... I give up. I can charge these overnight and they'll show as full. I'll store them in our battery container and watch in horror as the kids go through them complaining that they aren't working. I've tried everything I know to give these a chance but they've turned out to be sadly inadequate for our householdOf all the rechargeable batteries I have used, and I have used many brands, these are the worst. They are readily available, but they are not worth the money. They will not hold a charge. They will let you down every time. If you buy these, also buy another brand to compare results. Run them in simultaneous applications. Then throw these awayThese rechargeable batteries stopped taking a charge after 3 months. I bought them for my noise canceling headphones and they barely last 4 hours before they run out. Now they are not even taking a charge at all.

Don't buy these or the charger that goes with them. They simply don't last. Buy real batteries instead.
